Overview:

Lunar Odyssey - A Rabbit's Tale is a retro pixel-art roguelike shooter game set in space. Players control the final defender of Earth, the mighty Rabbit in its spaceship, the Lunar Eclipse, tasked with defending from an invasion of Nian beasts emerging from the Moon. The game features a single level with rogue-like upgrades and a boss inspired by the Lunar Zodiac's Dragon, giving a blend of Eastern and Western mythics.

Gameplay:

For 3 minutes, the player must navigate through space and defeat waves of Nian beasts with their spacecraft. The spacecraft can shoot rapid-fire shots, piercing shots, flak missiles, and EMPs. Upgrades are obtained by leveling up, which requires defeating enemies.

The game features a single level with a final boss inspired by the Lunar Zodiac's Dragon. The Dragon has mechanical drones that fire missiles from its side, and as it swoops around the battlefield, the drones emit sparks that give it the appearance of wings like a Western dragon..

The game features retro pixel-style graphics and a fast-paced roguelike shooter gameplay. The game will end once the player successfully defeats the Dragon Zodiac.
